Our History
In the mid-1980s, five families came together to support and encourage one another in homeschooling their children during a time when it was considered unlawful. As word spread, others began to seek their guidance, encouragement, and support. From this shared vision, FEAST was born—a mission to support and grow homeschooling in the South Texas region.
Over its 35+ year history, FEAST has launched and nurtured numerous support groups, co-ops, and sports teams. It has served as a central hub—a “clearinghouse”—for homeschool activities, resources, and community support.
